In this modern era, while chasing the growth, looking after our mother Earth is also a key point to consider. While some individuals have a perception that high rank officials and huge multi national companies running the economy can possibly bring a change, others reject this notion. I fully agree with the former notion as having enough power and resources help navigate this situation. This essay will analyse my viewpoints by demonstrating examples.

To begin with, Government has the authority the run the country and make the decisions right for the society as well as environment. To make it clear, only some authorities have those ruling power to restrict certain activities and impose the strict rules to stop the depletion of the environment. For an example, Government of India has put a ban on the deforestation in the wildlife region to help and grow the species which are on the verge of extinction. Such rules will not only save the wildlife on which the whole ecosystem is dependent but also make the earth a place to live peacefully as pollution levels and climate change would be in the control. Hence, owing to the power given only to the government, a real difference would be brough back to improve the environment.

Aside that, large companies have a way more resources and manpower to bring back the change in the environment by abiding the law. To illustrate, on account of having resources such as finance, companies will be able to shift towards the using renewable energy sources such as solar panels or windmill rather than digging deep down in the earth to extract coal or oil to run such power plants or factories. Also, based on the recent article in the newspaper, a good example of this is "Reliance Industries" established in the India. They have been generating energy through solar panels and running the factory as well as the whole city in which the company is located. To add on, companies are formed through a group of individuals, so if the company is following such trend, workers will also contribute since an individual may not be able to create that much difference which a group of people can.

To summarize, even though humankind can do a little for the environment, the responsibility can be given to government having such power to make rules and run the system and large companies due to having enough resources and manpower.
