Band 7.0

Prompt: What kind of films do you like watching?

Examiner Grace: Hi! What kind of films do you like watching?

You: Hello, I like watching films that especially consist of action because I am an avid person who likes all the moves and jabs that a hero throws, especially movies that include superheroes like Avengers as well as the DC. Examiner Grace: Wow, so big fights are your thing!

You: Yeah, big fights are usually my thing. Even though I do not get involved in any fights in the streets. Examiner Grace: Good call on avoiding real fights! What else do you like?

You: I really like to read books compared to watching movies because I feel like in a book I am in my own world looking at all the images in my mind. Thus I am living my life in a book but in a movie I tend to have to follow the screenplay. I cannot exactly have a character development going on in my brain. Because in a book I could read the characters personality and probably even decide what the character should be doing in the next step. Examiner Grace: Oh, so you like being the director too!

You: Yes, I do like being the director, especially because I really like my creative side a lot. I tend to map out how things should move on and how the movie would get interesting from there onwards. Examiner Grace: I've assessed your speaking and estimated your overall band score at 7.0. You had a great flow in your answers and used good descriptive language throughout. Your pronunciation was very clear, and you handled basic grammar well for the most part, though sometimes you use less complex sentences. To improve, practice using more varied grammatical structures and try to expand your vocabulary beyond common phrases. This is an estimate, not an official result, but keep practicing!
