Band 5.5
Prompt: What kind of music do you enjoy, and why?
Vex: Well now, look who's drifted in. What kind of music do you enjoy, and why?
You: I love to listen to devotional songs. Because Vex: Ah, for your moments of quiet contemplation, I assume? How charming.
You: Yeah, because those make me feel very calm and relaxed. When I am stressed. So, I always prefer them. Vex: And does this preference provide you with profound peace, or just a fleeting distraction
You: every day Vex: any genuine peace, or just a temporary, soothing distraction? I wonder.
You: It's not any temporary distraction. Even if I feel distracted or feel headache, I like to listen to devotional songs. Especially Venkateswara Swamy songs. Then I feel more calm and relaxed and again start the work that I stopped. Vex: So, a sonic tonic for the soul, it appears. One moment... your English assessment is ready. You have an estimated overall band of 5.5. Your fluency and coherence... let's say 6.0, and your lexical resource is a 5.5. For grammar, I'd give you a 5.0, and your pronunciation is a 6.0. You do tend to pause mid-sentence, which disrupts the flow; focusing on phrasing, grouping words, could improve that fluency. You do have a clear enough pronunciation, which is something to build on. Now, was there anything else, or are we finished here?
