The bar chart gives information about the number of people who watched six different film genres in Country X in the year 2022. The numbers are measured in millions.
Action films had the biggest number of admissions. There were 42 million people who went to watch action films. Comedy films were the second most popular genre and they had 31 million admissions. After that, animation films had 27 million people.
Drama films had 18 million admissions and horror films had 12 million admissions. Documentary was the last genre in the chart and it had only 5 million people, which is the lowest number of all the genres.
Overall, we can see that action films were more popular than all the other genres in Country X, and documentary films were the least popular type of film in that year.

Overall, action films were considerably more popular than any other genre, while documentaries attracted the smallest audience by a wide margin. Broadly, mainstream entertainment genres drew far larger crowds than more serious ones.
Action films led clearly, accounting for 42 million admissions. Comedy and animation followed, with 31 million and 27 million respectively, meaning the top three genres together made up the great majority of cinema-going. Comedy alone drew roughly three-quarters as many admissions as action, with animation not far behind.
The remaining genres trailed some distance behind. Drama recorded 18 million admissions and horror 12 million. Documentaries were the least watched of all, drawing only 5 million viewers — roughly one-eighth of the figure for action. Thus, although the chart covers a range of genres, audiences were heavily concentrated around a small number of popular categories.
