Prompt: You have decided to apply for a job advertised in a newspaper. Write a letter to the employer. In your letter: explain which job you are applying for; describe your relevant experience and skills; say when you would be available for an interview.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to apply for the position of Sales Manager which I saw advertised in the Daily Times newspaper last Monday. I am very interested in this opportunity and I believe I am a suitable candidate for this role.
Regarding my experience, I have been working in sales department for over five years in a retail company. During this time, I was responsible for managing a small team and also I achieved the sales targets every year. I have good communication skills and I am able to work under pressure. In addition, I have some knowledge of using computer software such as Excel and Word which I think will be useful for this position.
I would like to mention that I am available for an interview at any time that is convenient for you. However, I would prefer if the interview could be arranged on weekdays, either in morning or afternoon. I am not available on weekends due to my current work schedule.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialisation in Marketing, and I am proficient in industry-standard tools including Google Analytics, Salesforce, and Adobe Creative Suite. I am also an effective communicator who works well under pressure and collaborates productively with cross-functional teams.
