Overall, the United States was the most expensive country for international students at both levels of study, while Canada was the cheapest. In every country, postgraduate fees were higher than undergraduate fees.
The United States charged the highest fees, at $35,000 for undergraduate study and $42,000 for postgraduate study. The UK was the second most expensive, with fees of $28,000 and $33,000 respectively.
Australia's fees were slightly lower than the UK's, at $25,000 for undergraduate and $30,000 for postgraduate courses. Canada had the lowest fees of all four countries, charging international students $20,000 a year for undergraduate study and $24,000 for postgraduate study. The difference between the most and least expensive countries was $15,000 at undergraduate level.
