Examiner Grace: Hello. I'll be conducting your practice test today. What did you want to be when you were a child?

You: Well, when I was child, I wanted really impatient to be a doctor. I was really curious on this job because, you know, I had many toys related to medicine. So, this kind of toys arose interest. Examiner Grace: Did you change your mind later on?

You: Well, definitely yes. After a while, I changed my mind and I decided to be a lawyer instead of like doctor because I studied history and law and I interested in this subject rather than medicine. Examiner Grace: What kind of jobs do children want to have in your country?

You: Wow. I would say in my country people would more likely to obtain like doctor, lawyer, and designer, and also like businessman because these jobs are very well known and they can earn a lot of money. By working in this kind of job. So yeah, I think. Examiner Grace: Now, I'm going to give you a topic and I'd like you to speak about it for one to two minutes. You: Wow, now I am going to talk about one ambition that I am really curious on to achieve. This is definitely studying in Europe countries, particularly in Italy. So, nowadays I am just student. Finished sort of my study and this is the my last year. At my university. I am really keen on to study in abroad because I really want to broaden my horizon and also I want to learn different kind of culture. So, I am I am doing a lot of things to achieve my goal. Firstly, I am writing some international articles because this kind of articles help me to win this scholarship to go to the Europe country by my university and also I am trying to get IELTS. Um, at least seven because the more you get higher score, the more chance you get to go to the abroad. Examiner Grace: Do you think you'll achieve this goal?

You: Well, definitely yes because I'm trying so hard and I think yes, I will achieve definitely because I'm I'm doing like everything. Examiner Grace: We've been talking about a goal you have, and I'd like to discuss some more general questions related to this. Let's consider quality of life. Do you think people who live in large cities have a better quality of life than people who live in the countryside?

You: Well, definitely not, because people who live in a countryside, I think this kind of people can live in better air quality rather than the urban areas, because nowadays the urban areas has rated the first in air pollution, because we have different kind of factors that emit smokes and also a large like billion of the cars, private cars and public cars. I think these all factors are contributing to worsen the air quality. For this reason, I think the people who live in a like cities, um, you know, are living in bad air quality rather than countryside people. Examiner Grace: Some people say that technology has made living in the countryside easier than before. What do you think about that?

You: 우와. Definitely yes. Technology made our lives so easier, particularly the people who live in urban in countryside. Because you know, gone are the days when people used to do a lot of things by their hand, but nowadays, we have robots. To complete the home chores and we have some, you know, mechanism and machines to for farming and for gardening. And I think this kind of like technological machines met countryside people's life more easier and you know, quickly. Examiner Grace: Thank you. That's the end of the speaking test.
